Engr. Seyi Makinde the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate has vowed to complete the abandoned Iwere-Ijio-Wasimi road. He gave this assurance today while addressing residents at Ijio in Iwajowa local government area of the state.
The PDP Campaign train arrived the local government area. Speaking further Makinde said the almost eight years of the All Progressive Congress can be described as the year of the locust, that has brought hardship and poverty to the people. Promising that the PDP government will bring bad the good days.
Makinde reiterated that Oke Ogun will play a central role in ending suffering and dependency of Oyo state on federal allocation.
While meeting with Muslim clerics in Iwere Ile, Makinde urge them to advise their faithful to know that its against the will God to sell their votes.” Please implore them not sell their votes” he said. Furthermore, he said work will commence in earnest after the elections to make Oke Ogun region more attractive and conducive for investors.
