MUPAN President Inaugurate New Executive Members In Oyo State

 

The National President of the Music Promoters Association of Nigeria (MUPAN), Alhaji Qarmorudeen Tiamiyu on Monday 7th October Inaugurate another sets of executive members that will lead the Oyo state chapter of the association for the next 3 years.

Alhaji Tiamiyu while Inaugurating the members charged the new executive members to work with the rules and principles guiding the association, also to run an all inclusive administration.
The election which was held at the Union House, Layi Balogun, Kobomoje in Ibadan had in attendance of over 250 members of the association who come from all major city and towns in Oyo State.

The newly sworn in executive members of the MUPAN in oyo state include Oyediran Ademola as Governor while Alhaji Bashiru Abdulazeez got elected as deputy governor.

Others are Olalekan Abiodun Ojo as Secretary, Waheed Oladeji as treasurer, olusola Adebola, kelani Bashiru and Tunde Badmus as fin. Sec, P.R.O. and auditor respectively.

He noted that the association is disturbed by the activities of the marketers shortchanging the artistes by duplicating their artwork, noting that is high time lasting solution is find to the problem

Alhaji Tiamiyu, while speaking further, described royalties from the association’s members as very important to the development of the association.

He charged all stations across the federation to ensure payment of their royalties, saying that it shows benefits of their artworks over the years.

The MUPAN National President also disclosed that Ogun state chapter was also Inaugurated few days ago while caretaker committee shall be in place in Lagos branch pending the time of conducting there election
